Mrs. Marie E. Pacifico, 64, of Somerset RD 2, died May 26, 1973 at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born December 6, 1908, Byrndale, Pa. Daughter of Nunzio Pacifico and Mary McCarl Pacifico. Preceded in death by parents, one infant son and brother George. Survived by husband, Victor Sr. and seven children: Yolanda, wife of Samuel Corden of Highland Md., Catherine, wife of Metro Pacifico, Antoinette, wife of Gerald Kiss, both of Somerset, RD 2, John, married to Joanne Reid, Parma, Ohio, Victor Jr., married to Lois Hearn, Harry, married to Barbara Good, both of Warren, Ohio, and Frank, married to Shirley Hoar, Montvale, N.J., 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Louis Scandrole, Pittsburgh, Mrs. Joseph Pero, Barberton, Ohio, Mrs. John DcWheat, Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Catherine Harris, Acosta. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church of Acosta. Friends were received Sunday and Monday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home (successor to Donald B. Hay) 409 Main St., Boswell where rosary and vigil services were recited at 8 p.m. Monday. Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Johns Catholic Church, Acosta. Minister will be the Rev. J. Joseph Strittmatter. Interment at Somerset Memorial Park. Daily American, 29 May 1973

Yolanda M. (Pacifico) Corden, 67, of Clarksville, Md., formerly of Boswell RD 2, died April 28, 1995, at Montgomery General Hospital, Olney, Md. Born Aug. 6, 1927, in Somerset, daughter of Victor and Marie (Pacifico) Pacifico. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Samuel J., Oct. 12, 1987; sister, Catherine Pacifico, and brother-in-law, Metro Pacifico. Survived by these children: Joseph V., married to Mary Miller, Clarksville, Md.; David P., married to Georgiann Cebula of Somerset, Sandra R. Wysong and Colette M. Bowyer, both of Clarksville, Md., also nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of John, married to Joanne Reid of Parma, Ohio; Victor Jr., married to Lois Hearn, Newton Falls, Ohio, Frank, married to Shirley Hoar of Pittstown, N.J., Harry, married to Barbara Good, Warren, Ohio, and Antoinette, wife of Gerald Kiss, Somerset RD 2.
