      Ruth Mary (Pogozelski) Horr, 66, of Number Nine Rd., Rowe, MA died Monday evening (March 10, 2003) at the North Adams Regional Hospital in North Adams, MA. She was born on May 16, 1936 in Williston Park, Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late Anthony Pogozelski and Hedwig (Strauss) Pogozelski. She attended schools in Floral Park, Long Island, NY including the St. Hedwig Parochial Grammar School and graduated from the Sewanaka High School. She was employed for several years at the Equitable Life Insurance Co. in New York City. She was last employed as a engineering librarian clerk for the Sperry & Rand Co. in Great Neck, NY. She moved to Rowe, MA in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro, VT. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lay Community in Rowe, MA and was a member of the Dominican 3rd Order. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Kenneth G. Horr whom she married September 3, 1960 in St. Hedwig Church on Long Island, NY; a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Mary Horr of Vernon; two sisters, Dorothy Eichler of East Islip, NY and Elizabeth Cannata of Glastonbury; two brothers, Anthony Pogozelski of Medford Lake, NJ and Thomas Pogozelski of Pitman, NJ. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Pogozelski who died at the age of seven years. Funeral services for Ruth Mary (Pogozelski) Horr will take place Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church Readsboro, VT with the Rev. Andrew J. Scopp S.J. as the celebrant. Calling hours are TODAY from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA. Burial will take place in the New West Cemetery in Somers on Friday at 1 p.m. A reception will follow the graveside services at Mrs. Horr's daughter's dance studio at Dance Express, 68 Hartford Turnpike, Tolland. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the Holy Trinity Lay Community, P.O. Box #300, Rowe, MA 01367 or through the funeral home.

      Anthony "Tony" Pogozelski, 88, of Woodstown passed away on February 14, 2013. Born in Glen Cove, NY, Mr. Pogozelski was the son of Anthony & Hedwig (Strauss) Pogorzelski. He was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, and former member and Eucharistic Minister of Saint Mary of the Lakes, Medford, NJ. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from British Petroleum as Manager of Terminals - East Coast. While working, Tony was an active member of the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce. After retiring from BP, Tony worked for several years as a consultant at Hudson Engineering of Philadelphia. Over the years his hobbies and interests included golfing, gardening, reading and telling stories to anyone who would listen. His greatest pleasure, however, came from spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee: Kovach), his children, Linda O'Rear and her husband Dennis of California, Michael Pogozelski of New York, John Pogozelski and his wife Cathy of Blackwood, James Pogozelski and his wife Michele of Shamong, Jane Andiario and her husband Jack of Woodstown and Matthew Pogozelski and wife Kristy of Blackwood; siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Cannata and her husband Fred of Connecticut and Tom Pogorzelski and his wife Carolyn of Pitman, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, his siblings, Edward Pogozelski, Dorothy Eichler and Ruth Horr, predeceased him. Betty and the rest of the family will be available on Monday night, February 18, 2013 from 7 till 10 PM to greet anyone who wishes to stop by and pay their respects at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday morning, February 19, 2013 at 11 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 51 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098. Interment will take place in the church cemetery following the mass.
