    Warren Thomas Hoar, 82, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, (March 11, 2009) after a period of declining health. Mr. Hoar was born in Paterson, NJ, January 30, 1927, only son of Henry Hoar and Lucile (Thomas); both deceased. Mr. Hoar had been a longtime resident of Burlington and San Diego, CA (before returning to CT in 2004) to the Farmington and Avon communities. Mr. Hoar was beloved husband for 23 years of the late Anne (Pollock) of West Hartford. Mr. Hoar was also husband to Hedwig (Wythe-Eberle) of Stuttgart, Germany, (predeceased) as well as Marian (Duhaime) of Burlington (predeceased). Mr. Hoar graduated in 1946 from Purdue University, Lafayette, IN. Mr. Hoar developed Vintage Mercedes Cars, one of the largest independent dealers of pre-war Mercedes Benz automobile parts in the U.S.A.; which he founded in Connecticut, before relocating to California. Mr. Hoar also founded the Warren T. Hoar Insurance Agency in Bristol in 1957. He operated that firm before retiring from the insurance business to move to California. Mr. Hoar was an honored U.S. Army/Air Force veteran serving as a war-trial translator and a member of a special section known as the European Transport Service; which enlisted him for his special photographical skills. Beside his interests for photography, Mr. Hoar's other interests included restoring antique and classic cars, travel, horticulture and various fine-arts. Mr. Hoar is survived by his daughter, Richelle Jones of Greenwich, and his four sons: Christopher Hoar of Milwaukee, WI, Kevin Hoar of Black Point, Peter Horton of Anza, CA and Shawn Hoar of Farmington, as well as one deceased daughter, Julia Ingellis, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition, Mr. Hoar leaves one step-son, Peter Eberle, of Sedgfield, South Africa; and by his 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.     Marian D. Hoar, 71, of the 2300 block of Court Circle, died Sept. 26, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in Waterbury, Conn., she earned her master's in sociology and was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
    Survivors include two daughters, Richelle Jones of Greenwich, Conn., and Julia L. Ingellis of Virginia Beach; four sons, Christopher T. Hoar of Glendale, Wis., W. Kevin Hoar of North Canton, Conn., Dr. Peter F. Horton of Temecula, Calif., and Shawn H. Hoar of Farmington, Conn.; a brother, Ernest Duhaine of Charleston, R.I.; 13 grandchildren, Kelly, Kristin, Gretchen, Megan, Jeremy, Jenna, Angelina, Christina, Lindsay, Shawna, Briana, Claudia and Bartek; and three great-grandchildren, David, Madisyn and Shannon. She was predeceased by her mother, Julia Duhaine; her father, Ernest L. Duhaine; her two sisters, Julia Truskoski and Joan McMahon; and her two brothers, Dr. Harvey Duhaine and Richard Duhaine.
    The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. today. The remains will be sent to O'Brien Funeral Home in Bristol, Conn., for services on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

    Julia V. Duhaime, the former co-owner of D & D Oil Co. in Forestville, died Monday at home. She was 97.
    A resident of Burlington, Mrs. Duhaime was a member of St. Gregory Church, Bristol, and the St. Gregory Retreat League.
    She leaves a son, Ernest Duhaime of Charlestown, R.I., and Bradenton, Fla.; and a daughter, Marion Hoar of Burlington.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, with an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Gregory Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

    DUHAIME. Julia V. Duhaime, 97, of 32 Bradley Rd., Burlington, widow of Ernest Duhaime, died Monday (June 12, 1995) at home. She was born February 12, 1898 in Oakville, daughter of the late Frank and Nora (Hartney) Reynolds. A resident of Burlington since 1932, Mrs. Duhaime was the co-owner of the D&D Oil Company in Forestville, until her retirement. She was a member of St. Gregory Church, Bristol, the St. Gregory Retreat League, and the Burlington Senior Citizens. She is survived by a son, Ernest Duhaime of Charlestown, R.I., and of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Marion Hoar of Burlington; 28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, and two sons, Julia Truskoski, Joan McMaho n, Harvey T. Duhaime, and Richard E. Duhaime.
