Marvin S. Cadwell, 81. Word has been received of the death of Marvin S. Cadwell, 81, formerly of the Levering area, at the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Fla., on Jan. 25. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lair Kelly Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Fla. Graveside services will be in the Bliss Township Cemetery in the spring. Mr. Cadwell was born Aug. 4, 1896 in Evansville, Ind. He was married to the former Gertrude Hoar and the couple made their home in Levering for many years. Following retirement, the couple moved to Zephyrhills, Fla. Mr. Cadwell was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills; a member of the Petoskey Carl O. Weaver Post 194 American Legion; a member of the VFW Post in Petoskey and the I.O.O.F. in Levering. Survivivors include his wife; four sons, Edward L. of Munising, Lee of Mackinaw City, Albert M. of Grand Ledge, and Jerry M. of Leslie; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert of Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Phillips of Lansing and Mrs. Dorothy Mericle of Grand Rapids.
