    Note:
Alfred M Hoar (b 4 Apr 1905; d 18 Feb 1990) married a cousin of mine, Olive E Baker (b 18 Mar 1912; d 25 Oct 1977, Knox Co, OH) on 30 Dec 1935 in OH. Not sure if they had children, but Olive lived her entire life in Knox Co, so her obituary should be in the Mount Vernon News. Both Alfred and Olive are buried at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Monroe Twp, Knox Co, OH.
Alfred's parents were Albert W HOAR (b 1857; d 1924) and Emma M BARR (b 1868; d 1939). Both are buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Monroe Twp, Knox Co, OH.

    Repy from Roz:
    Hi Carole,
Thank you sooo much. I was never able to find Albert W. Hoar in the 1910 census but found him today under "Albert HORN" (Monroe Twp, Knox Co, Ohio). He is listed with wife Emma and children Myrtle and Alfred. The surname HOAR was mistranscribed as HORN...just to clarify that this was not a name change.
In the 1920 census it looks like? your cousin Olive E. Baker (future wife of Alfred M. Hoar) was living next door to the Albert Hoar family. Childhood sweethearts?
With your woderful new information I have been able to place the ancestry of Albert W. Hoar to Robert Hoare and Margaret Caredise/Carndise of England. Thank you again, Roz Edson

    [[Ps.
I have many other misc. records and it looks like (not proven yet) that Alfred and Olive (Baker) Hoar may have had a son, Melvin Lee Hoar, b. Dec. 11, 1937. This Melvin Lee Hoar had a daughter Pamela and Pamela married Mr. Sheasbyk.
I have posted the above as a postem to the rootsweb site. Happy holidays to you, Roz
