"While researching my branch of the Hoards, I received a copy of an Emory G. Hoard's Social Security application. He states that his name was recorded as Elmer at birth. Father was Philander G. Hoard, mother was Alice Mowell. He was born in Gregory, Livingston County, MI, on November 19, 1884. He was a farmer and applied for a Social Security number on October 19, 1941. Social Security number 368-22-1074. See SSDI for death date and place. Hope this helps."
