Obituary:
HORR? Mrs. Grace B. Horr was born in
Biddeford, Maine, and passed away on Sabbath
morning, January 15, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Joseph K. Pearson, in Andover,
Mass. Sister Horr was a faithful member
of the White Memorial church in Portland,
Maine, -until the time of her death.
The early years of Sister Horr's married
life were spent on Cliff Island. There she
was active in church work, and there are
those now who are in the church because of
her influence. During her illness in the late
years of her life, she stayed at the Parley
Nursing Home in Richmond, Maine; and in
recent months she was taken to the home of
her daughter, who cared for her in her last
illness. Besides a daughter, she leaves a son,
David A., of Biddeford, Maine; two grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren. Funeral
services were conducted at the Frederick
E. Alien Ohapel in Andover and interment was
at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Biddeford, Maine.
Sister Horr was loved by all of those who
knew her. She awaits the call of the Life-giver.

Me.; died in Andover, Mass., Jan. 15, 1955. She was
a faithful church member. Mourning their loss are
her daughter, a son, 2 grandchildren, and 3 greatgrandchildren.

Grace married Clarence Horr about 1911. Clarence (son of Charles Horr and Susan Dolley) was born in Jul 1869 in Brewer, Penobscot Co, Maine, USA; died in 1929; was buried in South Portland, Cumberland Co, Maine, USA (Mount Pleasant Cemetery). [Group Sheet]
