GAINSVILLE, Va. - Armina J. Hudson, 81, died at 5 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2010, in Gainesville, Va., at the Gainesville Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on May 2, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Jesse Bulick and Margaret (Dalby) Bulick.
Armina was devoted wife of 52 years to Milo R. Hudson, who preceded her death in September 2005.
She was a loving mother and grandmother to her daughter, Mrs. Daphne Hudson Borda of Haymarket, Va.; her four grandchildren, David, Thomas, Rose and Susan; and she has 10 great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her sister, Arretta Rocco, of Lewistown.
Mrs. Hudson was one of five children, three of which preceded her death.
They were Anna Hoar, of Yeagertown, Jess Bulick, of Yeagertown and Ronald Bulick, of Lewistown.
Armina was previously employed by the Lewistown Hospital in Central Supply.
She was a past member of the Burnham Church of the Brethren, a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and an animal lover.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., in Lewistown with the Rev. George Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Birch Hill Cemetery in Yeagertown.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at the funeral home.
