    Notes:

Source: NEHGS SCD-RDM Records of Braintree:

[4225R] Benjamin Scott was in Braintree as early as 1640, probably, when his child John was born. He may have been related to Robert Scott who had a grant of land here but who remained in Boson where his children were born.

Benjamin Scott died before Sept 21, 1647 at which time his widow Hannah Scott married John Harbor Sr. who gave bonds for the payment of the portions of the estate beonging to the children of Benjamin Scott, and administration was given July 13, 1654 to John Harbor and wife Hannah, the eldest son Benjamin to have a double portion, the others equal portions and the widow on third of the estate. He probably lived where his son Benjamin (2) resided on south side of Granite St. east of Fort St., Quincy for in 1706 (S.D. 29:204) this land had an old house formerly that of Benjamin (2) Scott, now used as a barn.
