      Deceased Name: MIRIAM BURT, 74, WAS HOSPITAL NURSE
      Miriam H. Burt, 74, of Buttonwood Farm, Compass, died at home Wednesday. She was ill since March.
      She was the wife of Arthur A. Burt for 49 years.
      Born in Gap, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Iva Ressner Hoar.
      A resident of Buttonwood Farm since 1972, she previously lived in Coatesville for 23 years and Lancaster for five years.
      She graduated in 1945 from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph and Coatesville hospitals, retiring in 1980.
      She belonged to St. John's Episcopal Church in Compass.
      Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Arthur A. III, at home, Nathaniel Brooke of York and Thomas Christopher of Coatesville R2; a daughter, Dr. Mary Phyllis, wife of Dr. Thomas Seay of Allentown; seven grandchildren; a brother, George E. Hoar of Gap; and a sister, Kathryn Leaman of Lancaster.
