      Her mother's obituary:
      Elizabeth B. "Betty" Ford, 83, of Narvon, died Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.
      She was a homemaker and a past president of the Salisbury PTA.
      Mrs. Ford raised and showed Great Dane dogs.
      She was an active member of Pequea Presbyterian Church, Gap, where she was a past deacon and Sunday school teacher.
      She was a graduate of Honey Brook High School and attended the Moore School of Art, which is now Philadelphia College of Art.
      Born in Salisbury Township, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Robinson Bair.
      She was the wife of Harold G. Ford, who died in 1954.
      Surviving are three sons, Thomas C.Y. of Coatesville, Samuel B., husband of Jayne Ford of Lititz, and Harold G. "Skip" Jr., husband of Joanne B. Ford of Landisville; two daughters, Jane F., wife of William Hoar of Kent, Conn. and Dorothy F. "Dottie," wife of Gary L. Taylor of Gap; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Jeanette, wife of Joseph Thatcher, Summit, N.J.
      She was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and John W. Ford.

      John Wesley Ford, 45, of 831 Stumpf Hill Drive, died of cancer Tuesday evening at Essa Flory Hospice Center.
      He was a social studies teacher at South Brandywine Middle School, Coatesville Area School District, since 1977.
      Ford was active in coaching from 1977 until his illness last year. He coached boys and girls basketball, boys soccer and track. He also was an assistant coach of the high school girls basketball team which won the state championship in 1994 and head coach of the high school girls basketball team which won the league and district championship in 1995.
      He was listed in Who's Who of American Teachers in 1995.
      He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lancaster.
      He was a 1974 graduate of Elizabethtown College.
      Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Elizabeth Bair Ford of Narvon and the late Harold Ford.
      He was married to Sandy McMurtrie Ford for five years on March 27.
      Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a daughter, Taylor Leigh, at home; two sisters, Jane, wife of William Hoar of Kent, Conn., and Dottie, wife of Gary Taylor of Christiana; and four brothers, Harold "Skip," husband of Joanne Ford of Landisville, Tim, husband of Cindy Ford of Leola, Sam, husband of Jayne Ford of Lititz, and Tom of Parkesburg.

      Deceased Name: TIMOTHY FORD, 49, RESIDENT OF LEOLA
      Timothy Ford, 49, of 3220 Oregon Pike, Leola, died Sunday evening at Essa Flory Hospice Center after an illness. He was under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County.
      Ford had worked for Bilran Excavating and Horst Group for 19 years as a vice president of project development. He also owned and operated Ye Olde Salt Box, an antiques shop at his home, for 17 years.
      He was a 1967 graduate of Pequea Valley High School and a 1969 graduate of the former Stevens Technical School.
      He had been in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1969 to 1970.
      He was a member of Pequea Presbyterian Church and a charter member of Rotary Club of Lancaster, Sunrise.
      Ford had coached soccer for 13 years with Manheim Township Parks and Recreation, and then was involved with Lancaster-Lebanon County Soccer League.
      He was the first coach to start indoor soccer in the area. He had also started the Lancaster Catholic High School soccer program, where he coached for three years.
      Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Elizabeth Bair Ford of Narvon and the late Harold G. Ford.
      He was married to Cynthia Wise Ford for 18 years on Sept. 20.
      Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three sons, Troy L. Burkhart of Mohnton, and Daniel C. Ford and Kyle M. Ford, both at home; a daughter, Laurie J. Ford of Plainfield, Conn.; two stepsons, Todd A. Frisbie of Lancaster and Troy I. Frisbie of Harrisburg; a grandson; three brothers, Thomas of Coatesville, Samuel, husband of Jayne Ford of Lititz, and Harold Jr. "Skip," husband of Joanne Ford of Landisville; and two sisters, Jane, wife of William Hoar of South Kent, Conn., and Dorothy, wife of Gary Taylor of Gap.
      His brother, John Ford, died in June.
