The following pedigree chiefly from Sussex Archaeological Collections xxv 114 with additions kindly supplied by the late Col Chester it will be seen is calculated to elucidate the preceding and to shew that the name was also spelt Hore or the Ashfield family was connected with two distinct families of Hore and Hord which is contrary to the probabilities of the case.
