      BURT, HENRY (around 1595 - 1662) of Springfield, MA. English home: He was born in Harburton, Devonshire, England (3 miles s. of Totnes). He was the son of Henry Burt of Harburton (will, 10 July 1617) and Isott -------- (will, 14 Mar. 1629/30). His father was a prosperous clothier, with land, sheep and cloth and an estate of 600 pounds. Henry m. ULALIA MARCH, 28, Dec. 1619, Dean Prior, Devonshire (6 miles NW of Totnes). She was daughter of RICHARD MARCH and JOAN MARTYN. They came to New England in early 1639 with seven children. They settled first in Roxbury, MA, but when their house burned down, in November 1639, they moved to Springfield, MA.
