    • BPG; H&H10; of Dunkittle and Factory Hill, Cork, Ireland. He was a successful +
      merchant and banker and purchased large estates in Cork, Limerick and Kerry. He +
      was Sheriff of Cork in 1684, and Mayor in 1686. He fled to London on the +
      outbreak of rebellion in 1689 with his wife and three children, and stayed with +
      his relatives at Edmonton, Mddx. After the expulsion of James II, his estates +
      were restored to him. He is buried at the church at St Mary's Shandon, Cork. +
