      Rehoboth, Ma. Complied 1972 by Robert S. Trim, Rehoboth, MA
      A Private Revolutionary War Bi-centennial Project.
      Page 1 - A note of explanation. At the timed of the compiling of the
      enclosed list of veterans of the American Revolution, there was located in
      present day Rehoboth, some 52 public and family cemeteries, of which only
      about 2- contain the remains of such veterans.
      The references used to determine the eligibility of these veterans to be
      classified as such are from numerous sources, mainly from the 17 volumes of
      the Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the American Revolution, (Mass);
      as well as from Colwell's, Spirit of 76", which lists those who served in
      Rhode Island; the other abbreviations used in the reference column are as
      follows, (DAR) Daughters of the American Revolution, both their lineage
      books, and their Patriot Index; (N.P.) indicating that an obituary appeared
      in some issue of the many newspapers of the years during, and following the
      American Revolution; and (Marker) which indicates that the gravestone of the
      veteran so mentions that he served in the armed forces of his country. The
      name of the Rev. Robert Rogerson is also listed, as having given public
      service.
      The page number given in the last column refers to the page in the
      "Gravestones of Rehoboth; by Robert Trim - copies which are located in the
