      Deceased Name: Lillian McMillen
      CONWAY -- Lillian McMillen, 78, of Pumpkin Hollow Road, died Friday (1-26-01) in the Center for Extended Care at Amherst.
      Born in Cambridge on Aug. 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Phelomena (Staelens) Moore. She was educated in Conway schools and graduated from the former Deerfield High School. She was also a graduate of the Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing.
      She married Charles McMillen in Conway in 1944.
      She was a member of the United Church of Conway and worked on town elections for many years. She was also a former Girl Scout leader.
      She retired as a registered nurse at Anchorage Nursing Home and had worked at the former Hillside Nursing Home in South Deerfield and the Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield.
      Survivors include a son, Edward of Conway; two daughters Maureen Hoar of Ocala, Fla., and Eloise LaCrosse of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Phillip Moore Jr. of Pinehurst, N.C.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
      Her husband predeceased her in 1979, and a daughter, Martha McMillen, predeceased her in 1990.
      Graveside services will be held in the spring in Howland Cemetery.
      There are no calling hours.

      Arrangements are under the direction of the Wrisley Funeral Home in South Deerfield.
