Demmons to be my sole executor of this my last will directing her to pay all my debts and funeral expenses and requesting she be not required to give bond or render any inventory of my said estate. After payment of said debts and funeral expenses I give to each of my children, Hannah Berry, Arabella Spofford, William P. Demmons, Obed M. Demmons, Sarah M. Cusitrum and Henrietta Ayers the sum of one cent each to be paid out of my estate. Next I give and bequeath all the remainder of my estate both real and personal as follows:- the use of the same during his natural life to my husband Solomon and after his decease both real and personal estate to my daughter Caroline M. Demmons, Executrix as aforesaid to be her sole property with my special direction that she, said Caroline, shall suitably provide necessary food and clothing for my adopted child Lottie Bell separately, now four years old.
