  [[Obituary: Sylvia V. Summers, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, February 6th at ManorCare, Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hughie A. Summers. She was born on April 27, 1922 in Centre County, the daughter of the late John and Sarah Hoar. She lived in Lewistown before moving to Elizabethtown in 1975 to be near her family. Sylvia was a homemaker and she enjoyed her grandchildren, embroidery and playing Bingo. She attended Faith Bible Church. She is survived by her 4 children, Sandra (Freed) (Raymond) Leach, Elizabethtown, Donald H. Summers, Lititz, James E. (Pamela) Summers, Bainbridge, Dannie W. (Carol) Summers, Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and a sister, Josephine Johnson, Milroy. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Summers; 5 brothers; 1 sister; and 2 granddaughters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sylvia's Life Celebration Services from Boyer Funeral Home, 144 E. High St., Elizabethtown on Thursday, Feb. 11th at 7:00 p.m. and also on Friday, Feb. 12th at Milroy U.M. Church, 91 S. Main St., Milroy at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the Milroy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and also on Friday at the church from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Please omit flowers.
