      Sunday Republican (Springfield, MA) - May 25, 1997
      Deceased Name: Elizabeth A. Regan
      Elizabeth A. "Betty Ann" (Hoar) Regan, 72, of 26 Union St., died Saturday at home. Born in Holyoke, she moved to Westfield in 1942. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of it's Rosary Sodality. She was a former member of the Westfield Parent Teachers Organization, a den mother for Westfield Cub Scouts, a former Girl Scout-Brownie leader, and a volunteer for the Blessed Sacrament CCD program. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Daniel J.; six sons, Thomas F., Terrence M., Kevin J., Gerald D., Christopher J. , and Michael T., all of Westfield; three daughters, JoAnne E. Podolski, Mary R. Regan, and Katherine R. Wailgum, all of Westfield; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at the Westfield Funeral Home, followed by a Mass in the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday afternoon and evening. Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 6 Union St., Westfield, 01085.
