  [[Obituary: New York Times Company May 13, 1990 PAXTON - Richard D. Woelflein, 64, of 6 Birch St. died Friday in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, after he was stricken ill at his place of work in Cambridge. He leaves his wife, Agneta (McCrealy) Woelflein; two sons, Richard D. Woelflein Jr. of Conway, N.H., and Robert T. Woelflein of Newton; a daughter, Jean M. Brunell of Holden; two brothers, John H. Woelflein Jr. of Sanbornville, N.H., and Kevin G. Woelflein of Riverside, Conn.; four grandsons; nephews and nieces. He was born in Haverhill, son of J. Henry and Helen M. (Hoar) Woelflein, and lived 35 years in Paxton. He graduated from Haverhill High School in 1944. Mr. Woelflein was a Navy veteran of World war II, serving on the USS Bingham in the Asian-Pacific theater. Mr. Woelflein worked as a linotype operator at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette. He was later a customer service representative at the former Colonial Press Inc. in Clinton. For the past 13 years, he was preduction manager of the MIT Press in Cambridge. Mr. Woelflein was a member of St. Colomba's Church; Auburn Council, Knights of Columbus, in Auburn; and the Book Builders of Boston. The funeral will be held Tuesday from Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 9 Hammond St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Columba's Church, 18 Richards Ave. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
