      CROW, Gertrude EiLeen (Hoar) - Age 92, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, December 20, 1996 in the Grandview Hospital, Dayton. She was born January 21, 1904 in Globe, Arizona, the daughter of the late Frederic W. and Mildred (Trevillian) Hoar. She attended grade school and high school in Globe, AZ. She was married to Robert A. Crow who preceded her in death in 1989. Gertrude was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI, the Davison Country Club, President of the New Comers Club and Opti-Mrs. Club of Flint, MI. She served 8 years with the Board of Directors of the Flint, MI YWCA, President of Girl Scouts Leaders Club and Scout Leader for 9 years. Life member of McLaren Hospital Auxiliary Board with 16,000 hours of service for McLaren General Hospital Flint, MI. She is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. Jr. and Mary S. Crow of Rochester Hills, MI; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth EiLeen and William J. Mattern III of Fairborn, OH; 4 grandchildren, Robert A. Crow III, Richard A. Crow, Linda E. Roth and William T. Crow; 2 great-grandchildren, Laura E. and Robert T. Roth; 2 brothers, Frederic W. Hoar and Robert T. Orr of CA. No visitation will be observed. Private memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the McLaren Hospital Auxiliary Flint, MI. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery Houghton, MI. Care of personal arrangements is under the direction of the Belton Funeral Home, Fairborn.
