  [[The Star Ledger (New Jersey) 2000/10/14 Sat OBITUARY A memorial service for George E. Horr Jr., 82, of Long Branch will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Georges by the River Episcopal Church, Rumson. Arrangements are by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Mr. Horr died Thursday at home. He was a self-employed manufacturer's representative in the housewares and hardware business. A graduate of Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., and an avid yachtsman, Mr. Horr served in the Coast Guard during World War II on converted yachts on the Green Point Pickett Patrol. Surviving are Virginia, his wife of 58 years; a son, George III; daughters, Mrs. Marcia Grace and Mrs. Nancy Horr Miller; a sister, Mrs. Ann Horr Simmons, and a grandchild. F...
