S. and Jennie A. Dygert, stepdaughter of Hon. Amos H. Prescott. "We learn that this wedding was a very delightful and brilliant one. The mansion of the Judge was brilliantly decorated with flowers; a large marriage bell made of flowers, fern, ivy and similax marked the place the ceremony was to be performed; and large tents, well lighted and finely carpeted, were erected on the lawn adjoining the house, in which refreshments were served. A band of music enlivened the occasion, and between four and five hundred guests sat down to the wedding feast.
