Jack P. HOARD, 79, Allegheny, N.Y., died Wednesday morning.
He was born in Branch County March 19, 1894, the son of William and Lena (KARNS) HOARD. Mr. HOARD was graduated from Burr Oak High School and was a veteran of World War I. He had been a resident of Allegheny for the past four years, moving from the Bronson area. Mr. HOARD had owned and operated a ski resort before retiring several years ago. Surviving are five brothers; Charles, James, Weldon, Lloyd and Clarence, all of Bronson; one sister, Mrs. Marie BARNES, Bronson. One brother, and one sister preceded him in death. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, in the Kubasiak Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Richards officiating. Burial will take place in Burr Oak Cemetery.
