Deceased Name: HOARD
HOARD, Russell D. - Of Otter Lake, age 68, died Saturday, October 3, 1998 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 1PM Wednesday, October 7, 1998 at Otter Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Melvin Santos officiating. Burial in Otter Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-9 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home and 11AM to services Wednesday at the church. Mr. Hoard was born in Detroit, MI on November 30, 1929, the son of Winfred and Alpha (Dennison) Hoard. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, member of the Otter Lake VFW and Otter Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are: daughter, Wendlyn (Thomas) Bentley; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hoard; 4 grandsons, Brandon Hoard, Jimmy Collins, Corey Bentley, Travis Bentley; granddaughter, Kayla Hoard; brother, Dennis Hoard; sister, Karen Hoard; 5 nieces, Roxanne Amos, Debbie Hart, Crystal Tucker, Sylvia Hoard, Stephanie Hoard; special friend and niece, Tammy Price. He was preceded in death by son, Russell Allen Hoard; parents, Winfred and Alpha Hoard and sister, Darlene Brown.

Deceased Name: HOARD, Mrs. Charlotte M.
Of Millington, passed from our world into God's Kingdom Saturday afternoon, January 31, 2009 while at the Covenant Health Care Center Cooper Campus in Saginaw. Charlotte was 70. Charlotte M. Taylor born in Pine Run, MI on May 7, 1938 was the daughter of Roy and Margaret (Neeley) Taylor. Charlotte had been a Millington area resident most of her life. In April of 1959 Charlotte married Richard Hoard. She and Richard had celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage. Charlotte was a devoted and loving wife, mother grandmother, great-grand-mother and sister. Charlotte leaves her husband, Richard; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Doug Ewing, Vicki and David Nudd; two grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Rick Campbell, and Kyle Ewing; and three great-grand-children; her sibblings, Shirley, Scotty, Doris, Stella Jean, and Lynette. Charlotte was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Taylor. Charlotte's family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
