[Mills] Hoar, 87, a longtime resident of Lincoln, Massachusetts, and recent resident of both San Diego, Calif. and Claremore, Okla. died peacefully in her sleep on January 6, 2011, with her family by her side. Born October 26, 1923 in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, Canada. She married Norman W. Hoar in 1942. Shirley is survived by her brother Arthur Mills of Acton, Mass., and her children; Judith, Randall, Bruce, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
