Newark Valley, May 21.? Mrs. Maude .1. Clark, wife of Mason J. Clark, died Sunday night of peritonitis, after an illness of only five days, aged 2.9 years. Mrs. Clark formerly resided in Detroit, Mich., and came here after her marriage to Mr. Clark, about one year ago. Besides her husband, she leaves a mother and one sister, residing In Detroit, where the remains were taken Tuesday for burial.

Mrs. Mason J. Clark died at her home on Monday, May l?Cth. The remains were taken to Detroit, Mich., for Interment. Besldea her husband, formerly of this place, the survivors are her mother and sister of Detroit, Mich., and a brother, John C. Jenks,
of this place.
