      Deceased Name: WADE DONALD HOAR
      The funeral service for Wade Donald Hoar, 22, Valley City, North Dakota will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley City. Rev. Jerry Carlson will officiate and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery near Valley City. He died Monday, May 19, 2003 at Mercy Hospital, Valley City.
      Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Wade Donald Hoar was born August 23, 1980 at United Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the son of Mark and Julie (Smith) Hoar. He was baptized at Holy Family Parish in Grand Forks on November 2, 1980, and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Valley City, North Dakota on October 26, 1997. He attended Washington Elementary School and then attended Valley City Junior and Senior High School. He earned a GED certificate in March 2000.
      Wade worked many different jobs but especially enjoyed his line work construction job with L.E. Meyer of Marshalltown, Iowa and his current job with Kasowski-Gubrud Repair of Buffalo, North Dakota. He liked to hunt and fish and was very talented with his hands. He enjoyed installing stereo systems in cars for his friends.
      He is survived by his parents, Mark and Julie Hoar of Valley City; sister, Shay Frances Hoar, Valley City; grandparents, Donald and Elizabeth Hoar of Perham, Minnesota and Richard and Billie Smith of Battle Lake, Minnesota; great grandmothers, Dorothy Hoar of Scribner, Nebraska and Betsy Cosgrove of Henning, Minnesota; 4 uncles; 4 aunts; and several cousins.
      He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Harold Hoar and John Cosgrove.
      Funeral arrangements are by Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.
