MBS. BRIDGET HOAR
Mrs. Bridget Hoar of 1 Parker
8tre?Ct, a resident of Yonkers for
50 years, died today at her home
after an illness of six weeks with a
heart ailment.
She was active for many years
as a member of the Altar Society
of St. Joseph's Church and had always
lived in the Sixth Ward for
4he half a century.
A native of Ardmore, County waterford,
Ireland, and a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lynch,
she was married in St. Joseph's.
Church in 1W1 to John Hoar by
the late Monsignor Albert A Lings,
pastor. Her husband died several
years ago.
Surviving are two sonj, Joseph
Hoar, a member of the Yonkera
Fire Department, attached to Engine
One, and John Hoar, an employe
of the Department of Public
Works; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Mahoney
of Yonkers, and Mrs. Pierce
Barron of Scotland; a brother, William
Lynch of Ireland, and two
daughters, Miss Helen Hoar and
Mrs, Joseph Foley, both of this city.
Funeral services will take place
Monday at 10 A M., when a requiem
high mass will be offered at
St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be
In St. Joseph's Cemetery.
