Deceased Name: Marilyn R. Dick (nee Morris)
Formerly of Joliet and Canton, IL, passed away at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware, Friday, October 13, 2006.
Survived by five children, Tom (Connie) Dick of Pekin, IL, Robert (Eve) Dick of Dover, DE, Carolyn (Mike) Horr of Canton, IL Steve Dick of Florida and Gary Dick of Kansas; 16 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William L. Dick (1979); a daughter and son; and her sister.
Born April 22, 1932 to Howard and Trilby Morris. She married William Lee Dick on October 22, 1949. She is now "healed" and safe in the arms of her Savior, Jesus, and will be dearly missed by her family, whom she loved so much.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd. Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Earl Thornton officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Memorials to First Baptist Church of Pekin, 700 S. Capitol St. Pekin, IL 61554 will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 PM until time of services. CARLSON-HOLMQUIST-SAYLES

Marilyn Ruth Dick
Funeral services for Marilyn Ruth Dick, 74, of Dover, formerly of Canton and Joliet, Ill., will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Carlson Funeral Home, Joliet. Mrs. Dick died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Born April 22, 1932, in Macomb, Ill., Mrs. Dick was the daughter of the late Howard Morris and Trilby Kiefer Morris.
She married William Lee Dick on Oct. 22, 1949.
In addition to her parents and husband, who died in September 1979, Mrs. Dick was preceded in death by her sister, a son and a daughter.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Tom and Connie Dick of Pekin, Ill., Robert and Eve Dick of Dover, Gary Dick of Salinas, Kan., and Steven Dick of Parrish, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Horr of Canton, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements were by the Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
Interment will take place beside her husband in the Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet.
