      Deceased Name: ANDREESEN
      ANDREESEN, Elizabeth "Betty" Ann, 77, of Brandon, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Brandon Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Betty Ann was born July 23, 1928, in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of John C. and Bessie Fern (Horr) Andreesen. She graduated from Anamosa High School with the class of 1946 and went on to American Institute of Businesss in Des Moines, Iowa, where she earned an associates degree. Betty Ann began working for what is now Cigna Property & Casualty Companies. In 1955, she moved with the company to Tampa where she continued her career, eventually becoming a financial manager and retiring in 1988. Betty was an active member of Apostle Lutheran Church in Brandon and volunteered her time and talents to ECHO and Meals on Wheels. She was also a season ticket holder for professional soccer. Survivors include her two brothers, Robert "Bob" Andreesen of Center Junction, Iowa, and John E. (Janet) Andreesen of Anamosa; four nephews, John L., Jeffrey, Joel and James Thomas; a niece, Sheryl Dlask; four great-nephews, three great-nieces; special friend, Marian Roper of Brandon; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jayne Andreesen. Memorial services were held September 7, 2005, at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, Monticello, Iowa, with Kramer Funeral Home, Monticello, in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
