  [[ Obituary: Allston-Brighton TAB (Needham, MA) - January 12, 2009 Deceased Name: Patricia O'Rourke Patricia A. (Monahan) O'Rourke of Norwood died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009. She was 73. Born in Allston, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Katherine (Hoar) Monahan. After her marriage, Mrs. O'Rourke lived for a few years in Jamaica Plain and Roslindale prior to moving to Norwood to raise her family. She leaves her husband, Gerald J. O'Rourke; her children, Thomas G. O'Rourke of Norwood, Denise Newton and her husband, David G., of Plymouth, and Daniel J. O'Rourke of Norwood; her sisters, Honor Piziura and her husband, Joseph, of Beechcreek, Pa., and Kathleen Egan and her husband, Robert, of Natick; and her grandchildren, Jeriann Patricia and Kyle David Newton of Plymouth. She was mother of the late John Francis O'Rourke, and sister of the late Thomas and Francis Monahan. Her funeral was held Friday, Jan. 9, from the Gillooly Funeral Home, Norwood, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Dennis Church, Westwood.
