  [[ Her brother's obituary: Cape Cod Chronicle, The (Chatham, MA) - February 3, 2005 Deceased Name: Stephen Mirick Butts TELLURIDE, Colo. - Stephen Mirick Butts, 48, of Telluride, Colo., formerly of Weston and Chatham, died of injuries sustained in an avalanche while heli-skiing in British Columbia on Jan. 18. He is survived by his daughters, Kailee and Caroline Winslow and their mother, Heidi Winslow. His father, M. Parker Butts, preceded him in death. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Foster Butts of New London, N.H. and Chatham; his sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Gerard Hoar and his nieces, Emily and Lindsay, all of New London, N.H., and by his aunt, Jacqueline Foster. He lived with his best friend and partner, Amy Taylor, of Telluride. A celebration of his life was held in Telluride.
