Juanita wasn't one to whine or complain about matters that were beyond her control. She didn't dwell on the dark times, bad times or extremely tough times. Juanita appreciated life and every wonderful moment she experienced. Juanita was a diamond in the rough; radiant, elegant, beautiful and as solid as the largest mountain. The most unique and mesmerizing quality was her sparkle; her shine. Everything that is beautiful and good about Juanita will live on forever. Her spirit already lives on in those whom she calls hers, and those who are theirs.
Juanita shared special friendships with Jim Wurzer, Mark "Fessor" Havens and Mark Hills. Their visits, conversations, cards, letters and phone calls always brightened her day.
Juanita belonged to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 1338 and Order of the Eastern Stars Bennett Chapter 504 in Prattsburgh.
Juanita's wish for her family and friends: comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth and love to complete your life.
It is at Juanita's request that there be no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Juanita's memory to the Prattsburgh Volunteer Ambulance Corp. and/or Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan, NY
