Can any one out there give me any data on Warren Bigelow, a fifteen year old boy, who came to live in Essex Co. N Y about 1837 or 38. I do not know who he would be living with. It is stated that he lived outside the law and in the opposite of his christian upbringing. His mother had died in 1830 and his father had shifted him around from family to family. Eventually he became a minister. Thanks for any help.Bobbi Bigelow LewisInverness Floridablew37@webtv.net

Hi everyone. My great great grandfather was the Rev. Warren Bigelow born 1822 in Chester Twp., Windsor Co., VT. He died in Mazeppa, Wabasha Co., MN on Oct. 31, 1866 (of consumption) while a minister of the Congregational Church in Mazeppa. He was a graduate of Middlebury College in VT. Married Lucy Jamima (Woodward) in Beloit, Rock Co., WI in 1856, while a minister at the Congregational church in Black River Falls, Jackson Co., WI. He and his wife and one son, Henry (died young) are listed on the 1860 Black River Falls, WI census. He moved to Mazeppa sometime in the early 1860's and was minister of the Cogregational Church there from 1864 until his death in 1866. Warrens wife Lucy continued to live in Mazeppa until the 1890's when she moved to FL to live with her remaining son George Woodward Bigelow, during her old age. She died there in 1904 and we have 2 obituarys for her, one in FL and one from Mazeppa.
The Congregational Church is said to have been on the south east corner of Walnut and Broadway Street in Mazeppa. We do not know if a cemetary is linked to this church, but assume if there is then Warren would be buried there. There is also a Mazeppa public cemetary listed on the Wabasha Co., MN genweb site and he may possibly be buried there. We just don't know. In a letter Lucy wrote her son, before moving to FL, she states that she continues to visit the cemetary every week, but that the steps leading to the cemetary are starting to give her trouble in her old age. Would anyone be able to pin point which cemetary this could be?? Is there a cemetary book for Mazeppa, WI that might list the people in the cemetary's??
Warren is buried beside his young dau. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bigelow who also died in Mazeppa in 1882. She was born October 12, 1866, two weeks before her fathers death.
Any help really, really appreciated. I have previously asked for a RAOGK look up, but never received a response by the one lady who does look ups in Wabasha Co. This about 6 weeks ago.
      Any help or clues appreciated.

I am searching for any information for Fanny Jemima 'Johnston' Bigelow who married Joshua Blake and lived in Lancaster Co. S. Carolina and later DeWitt Co. Texas.
She is the daughter of Daniel Bigelow and Jemima Johnston and was born in Windsor, Chester Vermont in 1827. Jemima was the daughter of Willard.
I am descended from her only brother Warren Bigelow, born on June 29, 1822 in Chester Vt.
      who married Lucy J. Woodward.
I believe Fanny may have had a son Colin who witnessed my grandparents marriage in Bushnell, Sumter Co. Florida on Nov. 15, 1888. My grandparents names were George Woodward Bigelow, son of Warren and nephew of Fanny, and Mary Eliza Simmons.
When my grand father was young he went to live with Fanny in S. Carolina. He was sickly and winters were so much warmer in the south than in Minnesota where the Bigelows lived. Warren was a congregational minister im Mezappa Minn.
I have a letter from Fanny to my grandfather dated, I think in 1900 or 1901 from Cuero, Dewitt Co. Texas asking for information on his father, her brother and was troubled that she had not kept up with him when he was alive. Their mother had died in 1839 and the brother and sister were seperated, going to live with different families, I know this was what happened to my great grandfather anyway.
Can any one out there tell me about Fanny's family? I would love to know more about her family, her husband and who her children were. I know so very little about them, and I will share Bigelow data. Can any one tell me how the Bigelow's are descended from John Bigelow, immigrant, or if we are?
I have seen some queries for Joshua on this query list and wrote some one but I am not sure they received my letter.
Thanks for any info in advance, I will be very grateful.
