Mary E. Horr, 71, widow of Leon J. Nichols, died Wednesday afternoon
at 4:15 o'clock at her home, 17 Pleasant Avenue, after a two weeks' illness. She was born February 27. 1865, at Natural Bridge, Jefferson County, a daughter of John and Margaret Horr. She lived there for nearly 30 years and while there was married to Mr. Nichols. She moved to Amsterdam In 1691 and had made her home here ever since. Possessed of outstanding Christian qualities and a devout member of St. Mary's Church, she had many friends in the community. Her home and family were her
principal Interest Mr. Nichols died January 19, 1925.
She Is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Casimcr C. Musolff, Amsterdam; two sons, Harry E. Nichols, Amsterdam, and John E. Nichols, Hagaman, as well as several nieces and nephews
