    • Notes from History of Saratoga County, NY: p. 92:

Nathaniel Cook , Ensign, 32nd Regiment, March 24, 1804, "From the Revolution to the War of 1812."

Notes from Web Site (updated 6/26/1998) by notes from Jonathan Cook:
"Nathaniel Cook is buried in the Fairland Cemetery, on Cemetery Road near West Fulton, NY. His gravestone lists him as dying March 14, 1852, age 70 years, 4 months, 22 days. The road to the cemetery is a one-lane, unpaved road, up a hill that can be steep in spots -- 4 wheel drive is recommended for visitors. He resided in Charlton, NY and 'Sap Bush Hill', West Fulton, NY, which has also been known as 'Sapbush Hollow' and 'Byrneville.' The 'sapbushes' were maple trees along the streams which form the valley. The hills around are steep and rocky, not particularly attractive to farmers. The area wasn't much settled until around 1800, and even then it was attractive only mainly for timber used in making shingles. Much of Fulton Hill (Fairland Cemetery is near the juncture of Cemetery Road and Fulton Hill Road, both bad) is now a state forest. He married Huldah (or Hilda) Sprague (born June 4, 1783), whose gravestone, near his but broken in two, says she died June 29, 1865, aged 82 years and 25 days."

They had 9 children including two sets of twins.
