      Deceased Name: Josephine M. Height
      Josephine M. (Hoar) Height, 95, of this city, died Thursday at Mercy Hospital. She was a switchboard operator and sales associate at the former Poole's Department Store for 16 years. She was previously an operator at the former New England Telephone Co. Born in Springfield, she was a lifelong resident. Her husband, Milo C. Height, died in 1966. She leaves a son, Alan of the Leeds section of Northampton; a daughter, Carolyn Landry of the Feeding Hills section of Agawam; two grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. The funeral will be Monday morning at Sampson Funeral Home, with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
