Llndsey L. Hoar, 73, of 279 North Broadway, died Wednesday at Yonkers General Hospital. He recently retired as chief engineer at Yonkers General Hospital. He also was chief engineer at Andrus Memorial, Hastings - on - Hudson for five years, and was chief engineer at the House of Rest, Sprain Ridge, for 30 years until its closing. Born In Princeton, Maine, son of the late Samuel O. and Mary Gertrude Hoar, he resided in Yonkers for 40 years. Mr. Hoar attended schools in Maine and was a World War I Army veteran. He married the former Mabelle Rose on June 6, 1931 in the Church of the Transfiguration, New York City. Mr. Hoar was a Master Mason in the Royal Arch Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. Surviving besides his wife are a nephew, Milton J. Hoar of the Bronx and an aunt, Mrs. Laura Hoar, of New Limerick, Maine.
