  [[ Obituary: MURIEL C. GODFREY-HOAR, 74, of Saugatucket Rd., Peace Dale, owner of the former Bailey-Shippee Funeral Home, Scituate, for several years before retiring, died Sunday at South County Hospital, Wakefield. Born in Boston, a daughter of the late Leo and Cora (Benoit) LeMaire, she lived in Slatersville before moving to South Kingstown in 1983. Mrs. Godfrey-Hoar had been the hostess for the Uxbridge Inn for several years. She leaves a daughter, Dawn Godfrey Gladu of Narragansett; a son, Reginald J. Godfrey of Douglas, Mass.; a sister, Jeanette B. George of North Attleboro, Mass., and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Old North Road, Kingston. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
