Born June 24, 1926, in Amherst [Ma.], she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Geneva (Blair) Main. She lived for 54 years in Belchertown. Mrs. Horr worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years at the former Belchertown State School, retiring in 1981. She is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxillary in Easthampton [Ma.]. Her husband, Leon E. Horr Sr., died in 1980. She leaves a son, Leon E. Horr Jr., of Palm Bay, Fla; three daughters, Beatrice Cerez with whom she lived, Phyllis Wilson, of Stephenson, Va., and Betty Slade, of Athol; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many neices and nephews.
