Levi Hoar Dies Suddenly. Services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Levering Methodist Church for Levi J. Hoar, 66, of Levering who died unexpectedly Saturday evening at his farm home in Levering. Death was due to a heart attack. Rev. John Miller will be in charge of services and burial will be in Carp Lake Cemetery. Mr. Hoar was born Jan. 23, 1891 at his farm homestead where he had since made his home. He was married to Susan Johnston Nov. 25, 1913 at Bliss. He served in World War I. He was a member of the Ely Grange and the Clayton Murray Post, American Legion at Mackinaw City. He is survived by his wife, one son, Alvie of Grand Rapids, a sister, Mrs. Violet Emmson of Oregon and two grandchildren. The body is at the farm home where friends may call.
