Elizabeth J. (Hoar) Lamoureux, 85, of North Port, and formerly of Chicopee, Mass., died on June 21 at a local nursing home. Born in Chicopee, she lived there for most of her life before moving to Port Charlotte 24 years ago. She graduated from St. Patrick's School and Chicopee High School. Her husband, Raymond P. Lamoureux, died in 1993. She leaves two sons, Raymond P. Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Michael P. of Mattapoisett, Mass.; and seven grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday morning at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Chicopee. Tylunas Funeral Home of Chicopee is in charge, and there are no calling hours. SPRINGFIELD - Ralph W. Hoar, 72, died Monday, November 26, 2001 at the Parkview Specialty Hospital in Springfield. Born and raised in Chicopee, he had lived in various Western Massachusetts towns throughout his life before settling to Springfield recently. Prior to retirement in 1994, he had worked as a driver for the handicapped and previously had worked for several different local businesses. Aside from work, he was an active competition roller skater many years ago, a black line artist, and was involved in several construction-oriented hobbies. Mr. Hoar is survived by his wife, Bertha M. (MacDonald) Hoar; his four children, Mary Ann T. Prendergast of Holyoke, Thomas Hoar of Ludlow; William Hoar of Easthampton &Margaret Stark of Westfield; two sisters, Joyce Arruda &Jean Brunelle, both of Texas; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, and several close friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 12 p.m. at Sampson's Chapel of the Acres Funeral Home, 21 Tinkham Rd., Springfield, with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in Ralph's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Raymond P. Lamoureux, Jr., 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at his home in Mechanicsburg, PA, on December 19, 2008. His engaging smile, courageous spirit and kindhearted nature will be missed by all.
Born on May 13, 1956, in Chicopee, MA, he was the son of the late Raymond P. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Hoar) Lamoureux. Ray graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1978 with a degree in computer science. In 1981 he was awarded The Army Commendation Medal for outstanding meritorious achievement in defining a rapid procedure for software development in the Telecommunications Automation Directorate. While on active duty at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Belgium, he earned his MBA through an extension program of Boston University. In 1983 Ray was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, holding the rank of Captain.
From 1991 to 2003 he worked for IBM Corporation, where he designed, launched, and directed the global e-business strategy and design practice. To this day, the members of Ray's e-business project team remain linked by the closest of friendships. Most recently he was a partner with CSC Consulting in Manhattan. During his twenty plus years as a management consultant, his charisma and leadership abilities naturally lent themselves to his being a strong mentor and good friend to those who worked with him.
In 2003, Ray took a brief break from consulting to pursue a lifelong dream and opened his gourmet traiteur, catering and personal chef business, "Who's the Chef?" with his wife, Ann.
In addition to his loving wife of 18 years, Ann "AT" (Spade) Lamoureux, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. and Nathan Davis of Scranton; his daughter, Sara B. Lamoureux of Garrison, NY; his son, Alex T. Lamoureux at home; his step-daughter, Gabrielle R. Trucco at home; and his loving granddaughter, Little Miss Madelyn Marie Davis. He is also survived by his father- and mother-in-law, James F. and Elizabeth Y. "Vonnie" Spade of Mechanicsburg; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Betty Lamoureux of Massachusetts; brother- and sister-in-law James F. and Ann M. Spade of Camp Hill; close friend and sister-in-law Cindi Hagy-Spade of Dauphin; brother and sister-in-law Stephen T. & Felicia Spade of Fort Wayne, IN; several nieces & nephews; close friends Dottie Ross of Mechanicsburg, Harold Getz & Brian Hurley of Carlisle, Toren Hall of Mechanicsburg, and Jay Abadie of New York.
Raymond Lamoureux was a musician, an animal lover, a swimmer, a Blues Brother, an art collector, a rock 'n' roller, a chef, an adventurer, a "bid-nit-man," a loyal New England Patriots fan, a warrior in the "World of Warcraft," a friend to many, a father to a few, and a husband to one.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 27th, at 3 p.m. in Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the service commences. Burial at the convenience of the family at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Danville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 1500 N. 2nd St., Harrisburg, PA 17102, or to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 301 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057.
