    Deceased Name: HELEN E. HUNTER
    HELEN E. HUNTER, 80, of Cape May, died Friday at her home.
    A Cape May resident for the past 20 years, Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Church of the Advent, Cape May, and belonged to the church's women's club. She also volunteered at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, where she participated in several activities such as the Big Top Fair annual fund-raising event.
    Mrs. Hunter also was a member of the Women's Community Club of Cape May, the Jersey Cape Shell Club of Cape May County and the Garden Club of Cape May.
    She was born in Glen Lock, Pa., and formerly lived in Arlington, Va.
    Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Jane Hunter of Lansing, Mich., and Cheryl Ann Smith of Manassas, Va.; six sisters, Marietta Morgan of Columbus, Ga., Rosetta Frank of Philadelphia, June Taylor of the Cold Spring section of Lower Township, Patricia Hoar of Ardsley, Pa., Wanda Grimm of Pleasant Hill, Calif., and Jan Armstrong of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, Cape May. Burial will be private. No viewing has been scheduled.
    Donations in Mrs. Hunter's memory may be sent to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 N., Swainton NJ 08210; the Tree of Remembrance, care of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House NJ 08210; or the Book of Remembrance, care of Church of the Advent, P.O. Box 261, Cape May NJ 08204.
    Arrangements are by the John Sudak Funeral Home, Cape May.
