Ilene M. Parker
Homemaker
Ilene Marjorie Parker, 79, of Manteca died Tuesday at home. She was born
in Viberg, S.D. She lived in Manteca 30 years.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Locust Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors: children, Daryl Parker of Tollhouse, Mervin Parker of La Crescenta,
Jack Parker of Walnut Grove, Minn., Phil Parker of Hanford, and Larry Parker
and Thomas Parker, both of Manteca; siblings, Jerry Hulquist of Burbank,
Betty Ross of Worthington, Minn., Vilas Rogers of Minnesota and Bobbie Rogers
of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Locust Ave.

AUSTIN -- Vilas W. Rogers, age 77 of Winona, died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester Monday, Jan. 5, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Friends may call one hour before the service. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, rural Oakland, with military rites by American Legion Post 91.
He was born Feb. 2, 1926 to Frank and Inga Tovik (Pederson) Rogers in Center Point, S.D. Vilas served in the Merchant Marines and the Army. He married Nina Mae Nelson on March 20, 1954 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. A longtime resident of the Winona area, he was owner/manager of McConnon and Company.
Survivors include his wife Nina Rogers of Blooming Prairie; three daughters, Linda Tadlock of Charlotte, N.C., Rebecca Rogers of Rochester, Shirley Schneidereit of Austin; one son, William Rogers of Frazier Park, Calif.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jerry Hultquist of Burbank, Calif., Betty Ross of Jackson; one brother, Robert Rogers of Pensacola, Fla.
