      H. Vivian (Bunn) Wells, Great-Granddaughter of Isaac Kersey Bunn

      Graveside services for H. Vivian Wells, 97, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
      Mrs. Wells died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.
      She was born Aug. 10, 1911, in Harrisonville, Mo., the daughter of Everett E. and Mary Elizabeth Bricken Bunn. She attended schools in Lawrence and had lived in Lawrence for most of her life.
      Mrs. Wells was a resort owner in the Ozarks in Missouri as well as a seamstress. She was a school cafeteria manager for the Lawrence school district until her retirement.
      She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kaw Valley Quilt Guild, Thursday Quilters and the Order of the Eastern Star.
      She married Wayne Wells on Sept. 5, 1929, in Lawrence. He preceded her in death.
      A sister, Betty J. Sale, also preceded her in death.
      Survivors include nieces Debra J. Sale Kornbrust, Lawrence, and Jeannette K. Sale Belt, Spring, Texas; and a nephew, Gary L. Sale, Tuscon, Ariz.
      Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
      The family suggests memorials to Heart of America Hospice, Douglas County Senior Services, or the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
