Hoar Gadbois, Harriet Lou, age 85 of Edina formerly of St. Paul on 12/4/93. Preceded in death by husband E. Gorden Hoar and brother Everett Eckland. Survived by 2 daughters, Diane Van Dusen & husband George of Edina and Susan Vingers of Bloomington; 4 grandchildren, R. Todd Vingers, George (Chip) Van Dusen IV, Michael Vingers & Victoria Van Dusen. Attended the U of M and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, member of Edina Womens Club & Crippled Child Relief, Inc. Former member of VFW Auxiliary and former member of The Shrine Masquers Club. Visitation Monday 5-8pm WASHBURN MCREAVY EDINA CHAPEL, W. 50th and Vernon Ave. at Hwy 100. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial service Tuesday 1:30pm ST. ALBAN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 6716 Gleason Rd., Edina. Deceased Name: EVERETT C. ECKLAND
Everett C. Eckland, 82, Shawnee, died April 17, 1992, in the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Willwerscheid and Peters Chapel, St. Paul, Minn.; burial in Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Mr. Eckland was born in Minneapolis and lived in St. Paul before moving to Shawnee in 1987. He worked for the Donaldson Co. in Eagan, Minn., before he retired. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Shawnee. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Eckland of the home; a son, Gary Eckland, Shawnee; a sister, Harriet Hoar, Minneapolis; and three grandchildren.
