In History of Vermilion County- Illinois- Ross Twp, pg 671, about dau Nancy & Malitda's husband Alvin/Alvan Gilbert, "In the spring of 1835 he moved on a farm situated on the north side of the North Fork, west of the Chicago State road, and opposite Mann's Chapel, which he had purchased from his father-in-law." [or his widow Lavina?] This has Robert's death aft 1835. [aft m to Matilda, bef m to Nancy]
In History of Vermilion County- Illinois- Ross Twp, pg 673, about daughters Malitda & Nancy [Gilbert].... "Mrs. Gilbert's ancestors, the Horrs, formed a part of the first hardy bands of pilgrams. Her father, grandfather and great-grandfather, each bore the christian name of Robert, and her father and grandfather were each born in the same town of Plymouth and near Plymouth Rock.".... "In 1812 he moved to Niagara Falls."... Taking in the company with a seamster, they went to work, and with the help of a force of sewing girls, during the winter, furnished the soldiers a complete outfit. At the close of the war [abt 1815?] he came west and settled where Columbus, Ohio, is situated, and bought a tract of land on which the state penitentiary has since been built. In 1827 he sold his home and removed to Illinois, stopping the following winter with Gordon S. Hubbard and open a small store in Danville..." "The next spring Mr. Horr, accompanied by Hubbard, came and looked out of a place on the North Fork of the Vermilion, a little distance west of the present site of Mann's Chapel. He died on the 10th of August, 1834, age fifty three, 10 months."...

"He settled in the central and west part of Lewis County [NY] by 1801-2" Lewis County History by Franklin B. Hough. 1860, page 84.
He is on the 1807 census in west part of Denmark Twp.
Could not find Robert in 1810 census.
Robert III's dau Matilda was born in Ohio 18 Apr 1810.
Lived in Ross township, Vermilion Co Illinois before 1831.
Vermilion Co was formed in 1827.

In the 1830 Vermilion Co Illinois Census this male fits the age for sons Warren and Isaac, not yet married. Note Lavina was still living in 1830. Note only dau Lavina was married in 1830.

1 female between ages 20 and 30 yrs
and 1 female under 5 yrs.
Note three daus, Lavina, Matilda and Nancy, married and raised families in Vermilion Co.
Note the Vermilion Co census was transcribed with a double LL in 1900 and 1860.
Most of the Vermilion county census pages are difficult to read and some just could not be transcribed.
Note: two of John's granddaughters married Hubbard men.
Note his brother Isaac returned to Jefferson Co NY to reside in 1827 after the fire of his mercantile business in Ohio. Could not find him in 1820 or 1830 census.

Angeline Horr is the youngest child of Robert and Lavina Horr. She married John Mallary 15 Aug 1842 Vermillion Co, IL.
A John Malery was listed in Champaign Co, IL 1840 census.
1830 census Vermillion Co, IL (Robert Hor) 0220201-1022101 indicates a dau under 5.
1820 census Goshen, Champaign, OH 21111-2201 There were 4 or 5 sons and so a total of 8 or 9 children.(Robert Horr)
I think had been in Ontario Co, New York and married in New York before coming to OH
