Elizabeth M. Scott
TILTON - Elizabeth May Scott, 78, formerly of Dearborn Road in Northfield died Friday, June 18, 2004, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen after a period of failing health.
She was born in Concord, July 22, 1925, the daughter of Emerson and Alice (Keaton) Hoar. She lived in the Tilton-Northfield area for several years and resided in Summerfield, Fla., following her husband's retirement.
For many years she was employed as an inspector and assembler at Freudenberg NOK in Tilton. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed reading, playing cards and traveling with her husband to country fairs.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl E. Scott Jr. who died on Jan. 1, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis E. Scott of Turners Falls, Mass., and Alan E. Scott of Tilton; three daughters, Nancy Denaris of Tilton, Cheryl Gearin of New Ipswich and Patti McKinney of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Minuitti of Concord; several nieces and nephews.
There are no public calling hours. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery.
The William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton is assisting the family with arrangements.
