John Peter Stitzer was born 19 Feb 1862 in Bavaria Germany.
He died in Spokane Wa on 09 Apr 1924 and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery
next to his wife Mary Anna Shrodberger who was born 20 Jan 1862 in Bavaria Germany.
They were married about 1884 in Bavaria. They immigrated to America on 3-22-1888 aboard the SS Eider. they arrived with there sons Leonard George,
and John L, and 1 daughter Bavetta Anna, and an unknown Katahrine Stitzer
who was a year or so older than John Peter Stitzer (possibly a sister).
The last name was listed as Stutzer on the ship manifest.
John and Mary had 2 more daughters born in Spokane they were Elizabeth and Catherine Margaret.
